Control of one or more drive(s) via a KNX/SMI control unit
Push-button operation is activated by switching the supply voltage off and on.
The drive switches to SMI operating mode as soon as a valid SMI bus voltage is detected on the I+
and I− lines.
The behavior of the drive in the event of a bus voltage or supply voltage failure is
manufacturer-dependent and can be found in the respective product documentation.

Application example: Roller shutter/sun protection control for an office building with SMI and KNX system
- KNX timer and/or KNX sun protection control as a central unit
- Six subgroups
- 64 SMI drives, 32 of which have individual control capability via KNX push-buttons

Application example: Roller shutter/sun protection control for a single-family home with SMI and KNX system
- KNX timer or KNX sun protection control as a central unit
- Four subgroups
- 32 SMI drives with individual control capability via KNX push-buttons
